Do we know what time the president's plane is to depart Italy? I will be relieved when he, the first lady, and their group return home. Clinton can stay there though.
There was a report about 1/2 hour ago from AirForce One, so he's on his way back.
I believe that Air Force One left Rome about an hour ago. Fox was reporting on a report from the plane in which the President said that Pope John Paul II definitely would not have a "mixed legacy". Take that Clintooon.
Before I left for work this AM, we heard FNC announce that the president was enroute to Air Force One. My husband and I felt that that was more detail than we needed to know. I too was worried about the plum target the funeral represented. But the Italians have had more years to practice terrorist avoidance than we have.
