There is no reason that the tourist industry would have to suffer if we were more careful about who we allowed into the country.

The best tourists are Americans. They speak English, they bathe more often, don't carry as many diseases, and they spend more money.

And it would also be a good idea if fewer American tourists went overseas. A lot of the anti-American rhetoric you hear these days comes from some dingbat who got brainwashed while on a youth tour of the Soviet Union.

Too many people are picking up on leftist ideas from abroad. We don't need their kind here.

There are numerous indications that FR is now the anti-immigrant movement's headquarters.

Are you refering to anti-illegal immigrant or anti-all-immigrants?

Kick up the numbers for legal immigration.

America already takes in a roughly 1 million legal immigrants a year, a majority of which comes from the 3rd World. More by far than any other country.

Legal immigration should be scaled back to pre-1966 levels and be changed to admitting only the most skilled, educated immigrants.

It's plainly evident with the breakdown of the assimilation process that America cannot absorb such high rates of legal and illegal immigration without losing its sovereignty, culture and National identity. Much has been lost already. It’s pure insanity.

Don't let them and don't let them out? We need to restrict the citizen's movements around the world.

Amazing.

If it was restricted to only skilled migrants, folks like my grandparents never would have made it here.

Both. There is a surprisingly large number here who don't like hispanic citizens in this country.

Look at some of the statements that have been made about Gonzales, Garza, and Martinez.

Whatever that means it makes more sense than anything else coming out of the Buchanalite wing of the Republican Party.

Said the card carrying ACLU left-wing Democrat Subversive. Coming from where you are at, it's assured that whatever position you take it's poison to the American Republic.

You know, it'd be easier if you would just type this stuff yourself. Instead of relying on me to correct you.

When is enough, enough? Do we want to have a population that rivals China? Do we want to live in country where 3rd world immigrants outnumber American Citizens? Where does it stop?

Well, yes. Why shouldn't law abiding people want others to abide by those same laws? You aren't a criminal yourself are you?

Yes. And we should also be careful about who they are.

I think the world changed when the Soviet Union collapsed. I believe a lot of people are now using immigration as a weapon.

Castro was the first to do this when he emptied his prisons and sent his hard-core criminals to the US. Now others have picked up on the idea.

They are deliberately trying to corrupt, bribe, degrade and weaken the West with an infestation of immigrants.

We have to adapt to this new strategy.

And no one is suggesting that we let career criminals into our Country either. OTOH, people like BF and harrowup just want an open border altogether. No controls and full amnesty for the criminals already here. Full benefits as well one can assume.

Lock the border. Screen out the violent criminals. Let those peaceful people who really want to come here and live do so. Stop the "hop the border, snatch the cash, hop back again" bullsh*t we've got going on now.

It is fair currently. This is our country. Mexico is their country. Now see that is fair.
If our government decides to start selectively enforcing laws that is dangerous. That border, like all others, was created through bloodshed. If that border is done away with the next border, like all others, will be created through similar bloodshed. I am not a Mexican, I am an American. I choose to live with Americans regardless of how many times Dane calls me a racist for it.
