I wonder what the real story is. I think it's worse than that portrayed by the article.
The nickname of the school team is the "Punchers". Appears to be about 15% white, rest black with some Muslims of some kind mixed in. I fear the "real story" involves the girl being non-black and the perps being black... just a hunch, that is all; alternatively the perps are on the sports teams and got a pass.

There sure is a lot unsaid. Was this during school hours? If it was, why were dozens of kids left unattended in the auditorium? If not during school hours, I still want to know why dozens of kids were left unattended in the auditorium? (I hate to think there was adult supervision while this went on.)
If this girl was so mentally disabled, why was she left without adult supervision, anytime, or anyplace?
The fact that dozens of kids let this happened is real frightening.
