Actually, it's a good question?

911 is for life-threatening emergencies.

Unless you want to invite a SWAT team into your house, you should not call 911 for domestic disputes.

I don't care how mad I ever was at my sisters, we never kicked holes in walls and we would have never gotten in a fight my mom couldn't have broken up just by walking in the room.

This 'mother' needs to exercise some parental control. She calls 911 because her delinquent brats are fighting?

The dispatcher's quick wit might not have been appropriate, but he owned up to it, took his medicine, now this 'mother' wants to be a victim and will no doubt be looking around for a lawyer to file suit in order to obtain a windfall.

Let the faux indignant expressions of outrage (directed at the dispatcher of course) begin.

The dispatcher's joke was in poor taste, no doubt.

But...

Why do people feel that every single matter needs to be settled by law enforcement? 911 is not a babysitting service. It is not to settle petty neighbor disputes. It is for life threatening emergencies. If a mother has two out of control daughters whom she cannot handle, why is she calling the police? To arrest them?

Why is the mother calling 911? These girls need to have their heads knocked together, and be told to take it outside. "You're not gonna wreck my house fighting."
