I just found your post. Thank you so much for every sacrifice, from driving from Maine to Florida to taking the time to write such a moving testimony and all that fell in between. I'm bookmarking this, as well as saving it to my hard drive. With your permission I'll share it as widely as I can.

The enemy we faced is summarized in the New Testament:
John 8: 44 You are of your father the devil: and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning: and he stood not in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. (DRV)

I had been thinking along the same lines - that the children of God and the children of Satan had never before been so clearly encamped and revealed. I understand now more than ever that there are those who serve their father the devil and can do no other thing until the Light of Christ shines in their hearts and they are transformed (by adoption as sons) from children of darkness into children of the Light.

We were fascinated at the opposition as well and realized engagement in debate is what they sought.

I've been thinking about this, too, that while we engage in debate on the Right to Life, on the Second Amendment, on the restoration of the judiciary and the balance of powers, on lower taxes, on immigration, on anything and everything cultural and political, the enemy is keeping us from sharing the Gospel of Life, the word of our testimony, proclaiming the blood of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. This is tragic; I'm not falling for it anymore.

And it unfolded in a pattern we could not miss, through Holy Week to Good Friday to Holy Saturday, to Easter Sunday with matching actors for all roles as if a sequel to "The Passion".

My husband, TigersEye, who is not a Believer, saw this plain as day. He's been using a unique tagline lately: "You say Barabbas, I say Jesus; let's call the whole thing off (too late now)."
