Sort of...Eostera (sp?) was a horse goddess, not exactly a goddess of fertility.

Pagan Origins of Easter
http://www.bethhamashiach.com/pagan_origins_of_easter.htm
"'Easter' derived from Eastre, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring." [Wiccans claim a Wiccan origin for Easter, which is turning cause and effect on its head, as Wicca is a modern invention]

perhaps you meant Epona, the horse goddess?

Etruscan Art & Architecture
http://nautarch.tamu.edu/class/489-502/lecture%208.htm
"Tomb of the Lionesses: One recumbent figure holds out an egg, thought to symbolize life (or life after death?)" [I've seen a photo of a nice terracotta tomb sculpture in which the husband is handing the egg to the wife; it was a common and longstanding theme in Etruscan religious art]

Applying the word 'pornography' to stone age man, isn't that a stretch? The Judeo-Christian era was not until about 2k years ago, right? There was no Moral Majority back then.

Is there anything about pornography, as a distinct concept, anywhere in the Bible? Something like, "If ye look on pictures of a woman, ye have commited adultery of the heart already?"

I've often wondered the same. How did we get from the "many wives" era of Soloman and David to the Puritanism age (one man/one woman etc.) we are in now. The transition is not well defined in the bible, at least as far as I can tell.
