There is no such thing as a clear thinking liberal. The very definition of a modern Liberal is Socialist. They only think using the emotional brain stem not the frontal lobe for analytical analysis of facts.

I ALWAYS learn something when I listen to Medved; the guy's a genius. Once in awhile, I enjoy Michael Savage (Weiner)...when he's in a reasonably mellow mood. I can't take him on the yelling/ranting/raving days. I don't know if he's bi-polar, drinks, or just very moody.

I would disagree on this one...at least with Nancy Skinner, who is nothing more than Hillary-lite. BTW, she and Doug are no longer on together. I think she has her own show (which we are blessed to NOT get in Amarillo).

Another BTW: Did anyone hear Stephan the morning he revealed that he and Nancy Skinner had been an "item" for awhile? Had a little "involvement" going on!

Medved has a good message, but his voice is like nails on a chalk board...when he talks about movies I turn the radio off. Savage is on cue, until he starts screaming and getting radical. Listening to Hedgecock now, subbing for Rush, I like him.

THAT'S GREAT!!!! She ran as a Democrat for Senate in Illinois. She was a liberal voice on WLS in Chicago. What a joke!!! Who assigned the labels here, Tom Harkin, the "conservative." HA!

I hope Bill Bennett's talk show will make these ratings. It is relatively new (about one year old), but Bennett's insights in politics are as good, maybe better than those of Rush Limbaugh, and his cultural views are as insightful as those of Michael Medved. Bennett tends to be somewhat low key and comes across like a conservative version of NPR, which may be a detracting factor. No one would accuse Limbaugh, Hannity, or Savage (numbers 1, 2, and 5, respectively) of not being boisterous and argumentative. The soft-spoken style of Bennett is not the predominant one among conservative talkers.

Some of those styled "non-political" are really not. Howard Stern tends to be liberal, with some libertarian leanings. Don Imus is moderate to liberal. Tom Leykis is extremely liberal. All three tend to more societal commentary, as opposed to Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, etc, who are predominantly political. OTOH, Laura Schlesinger is basically non-partisan and really is a "traditional values" version of Joyce Brothers or Dewey Brazelton. Her "beat" is family issues and cultural matters. In that sense, she is at least as "non-political" as Stern, Imus, and Leykis.

I really like Hewitt alot, Prager I haven't heard, Medved is good but I don't like his voice. Savage and Boortz go between really, really good, and really, really bad.

This list is two years old. Guess this explains why Ingraham is so low and that Prager, Medved & Hewitt would place. Air America wasn't even launched when this list was created.
