As North Carolina's immigrant population has grown, so too has the debate over what it all means.

Xenophobic responses to the tremendous surge in the Hispanic population throughout the state shouldn't be that surprising.

Oh, brother!

As North Carolina's immigrant illegal alien population has grown, so too has the debate over what it all means.

Xenophobic In response to the tremendous surge in the Hispanic illegal alien population throughout the state, citizens calling for the enforcement of immigration law shouldn't be that surprising.

I'm in favor of putting Minutemen in every city, county, and state in the union. If this administration won't do it's job then it is up to us.

We had an article posted a few weeks ago about Congress trying to find out that information.

Each year, the INS and SSA make reports regarding the Earnings Suspense File. The ESF lists undeliverable or unallocated W-2s; i.e., wage withholding statements that go to invalid SSNs - mostly illegals, sometimes folks who move with no forwarding address.

Congress looked into it, and found major corporations with thousands of employees whose records go to the ESF each year. They tried to get the names, and were told there was no legal obligation to disclose them.

Changing that part of the law might be a start toward answering your question...

Moonyham shills the open border advocates' message just like a well-trained parrot by opening with "Xenophobic".

Xenophobics are made, not born. I used to buy into the open borders crap until I saw what it was doing to Europe. Not all immigrants mean us well and immigration isn't necessarily good for the country.

"Huddled masses" once came to this country yearning to breathe free, now they yearn for freebies.

Have cell phone, will travel...

Every e-mail I get from RNC operatives (asking for dough-nations, of course), I mark as spam and block.

E-mailing the article to my address book.

Speaking of words, the President hasn't said the vigilante word since his meeting with Fox. In fact, I haven't heard one more word from 'W' on the Minutemen.

I'm for militarizing the border, but I hire illegals. I live just outside of NYC and there's a group of maybe 50 that hang out at the same spot every single day for 15yrs. They live in the apartments across the street.

I help a lot of people with all kinds of tasks from taxes to moving, and when I need manpower there's only one place to go...and to be honest, I feel good helping them; these guys are amazingly hard workers.

Better yet, hire some illegal aliens to do the spotting and put the liberals' brains into a logic trap like Capt Kirk used to do with wayward computers.

Cannot compute
