Oh, I am sure there are pinheads in the Universities that imagine in their fevered little brains full of mush that poetry is "sublime" or somehow important. But poetry is silly, pointless, and a complete waste of time.

The only use for poetry is within song lyrics because it is easier to make a song work with poetry. But the poetry isn't the point of a song. The SOUND and what it invokes is.

Bob Dylan would be dreck without the music (and some would say he is dreck with it).

It probably appeals to women more but what REAL man would like poetry?
