"Discernment" is a catch-all term that includes everything from legitimate caution and care (which I would never criticize) to the arrogant sniping of narrow-minded, self-righteous chruch members who justify not getting of their lazy butts, but sit securely in pissant little "ministries" that do nothing but condemn other Christians, and send out "newsletters" to self-goading amen choruses.
