PAPER: Border Patrol told to stand down in Arizona... Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, WASHINGTON TIMES has learned.... Developing...
The person who has sources within the Border Patrol who originally reported this story is Ben Anderson. He's the former Chairman of the Cochise County Republican Party. He's a staunch Republican, he ran for Arizona House of Representatives, and he's a friend of the Randy Graf for Congress campaign. He's not a Democrat nor a friend to the Democrats at all.
I just spoke to Ben Anderson and he said that he's not the source for this Washington Times article. No one at the Times has talked to him. So, this may be independent confirmation of the original story that he reported.
One word: TREASON.
Reporting news that other outlets ignore doesn't make them conservative.
I agree, the State Dept is a cancer to our Freedom. My fantasy would be for EVERY State Dept employee fired, their pensions revoked and all buildings leveled and made it to open fields :) Liberty would be better served if there was no State Dept.
Now, Condi, she is the best! She must struggle every day with the liberal elites entrenched deep within State.
bump!
Drudge is about a week late. This was posted last week on this forum.
Alleged stand down order consistent with mounting tensions on southern border
From the February 2004 Idaho Observer:
Alleged stand down order consistent with mounting tensions on southern border
The following information was shared with me by some federal law enforcement and Border Patrol officials in the San Diego area.
According to reliable sources, Border Patrol has received a document from headquarters in Washington, D.C. which orders them to stand down and avoid all contact with any military looking units crossing into the United States. This comes at a time when incursions are at an all time high and drug cartels are also using Mexican military to escort their drugs into the United States well into the territory beyond 1-5 miles
don't think your link works.....
Wrong. The Washington Times is a week late.
You know, they aren't curtains or even towels on their heads, they are sheets. Which, of course, makes them sheet
Ya Know....THAT would be an excellent idea.....to send peso's (one per envelope) to the RNC......if we could get our hands on some....

You have to click it to make it work.
President Bush is really at it if THIS is true.
I'm not a conspiracy buff, but there's something very fishy going on with the Administration about this illegal immigration thing. It's a slam dunk with the base, and with a good portion of the swing vote as well. Yet still they do nothing, and even move in the exact opposite direction.
How about it?
I am so tired of pansies that pose as Republicans long enough to get elected.
