Both the judge and the prosecutor in the trial of Hillary Clinton's one-time finance director, David Rosen, have insisted that Rosen acted alone - and that Mrs. Clinton had no idea that he was cooking the books to give her 2000 Senate campaign an illegal boost.
But at least one of Mrs. Clinton's probable 2008 opponents isn't buying that scenario. "All these federal election laws are a bit complicated, but you still ought to abide by the law," Sen. George Allen told Fox News Radio's Tony Snow on Friday.
Asked specifically if it was fair to question whether Mrs. Clinton knew what Rosen was up to, Sen. Allen said, "I think it's fair game . . . It comes with the territory."
After noting that he hadn't followed the Clinton aide's trial closely, Allen concluded: "This is a free country. There's freedom of expression and freedom of scrutiny.

--> I agree, Hillary had to have known. The BOSS is ultimately responsible for everything that happens.
These people that think Hillary is innocent live in a fantasy land and are an insult to the intelligence.

I'm sure the bill will eventually turn up on Hitlery's coffee table somewhere down the line, but she will say she never saw it. Either that or 60 Minutes will do an hour long expose "proving" that the bill was paid by Bush and he had it faxed to him at the Kinko's in Abilene, Texas.

It's not immunity, it's being surrounded by people who would rather go to prison for you than fall victim to Arkancide.

Hillary Klintler is personally responsible for at least two or three dozen women being sexually assaulted and/or raped. She knew early on that in Slick she had a guy who was massively photogenic, a brilliant speaker with a photographic memory and clearly presidential material IF she could keep the lid down on the little problems, and there has been a lid committee in place from then to now comprised of Terry Lenzner and one or two other PI organizations whose task has been to bribe and/or intimidate all those women into silence. It invariably worked, up to the Juanita Broaddrick accusation, because in every particular case it was just one woman with no real resources up against some sort of a thing with the full resources of one of the states or the United States behind it. Moreover, for something like that to have been in place all that time there is only one person on the planet who could have been in charge of it, i.e. Hillary Klintler.
I mean, You can watch the H. Klintler story occasionally on Friday and Saturday nights on the Grade B movie channel. The most common version shows some old crazy woman living in a cabin out in the swamp in the Louisiana bayous with two grown sons; the grown sons go out and rape and pillage at night and then the poor old crazy woman has to try to cover for them. Substitute Slick for the two sons and that's basically the H. Klintler story.

Sure you aughta abide by the law. If you haven't, it aughta not take five years to bring a charge. Think of the timing here.
Hillary wins re-election, it's over. Hillary loses, it's over....beating a dead horse excuse. Once 2006 gets here, it's hands off any scrutiny of her actions because it's campaign season. Unless some suicidal federal prosecuter wants to kiss the badger on the lips, it's over before it started.
If they get close to nailing her in the next six months, she'll find a lump in her icy breast or some other women's problem which will make her to be unquestionable. Remember Lazio assaulting her with a piece of paper? Feh!

LOL, Hillary has a lump alright, it's rolling around in her head where the brain should be.
I'm not familiar with the paper assault thing.

I've said this before: If she didn't know, then she's incompetent and therefore not qualified for high office.
But she knew.

IIRC the "if he didn't know, he should have" argument was used quite frequently with Watergate.
