My sentiments exactly!
IS IT JUST ME ....
... or are some of the rest of you getting just a little bit tired of all of the butt kissing we're delivering to disgruntled Muslims out there. This whole flap over the faulty Newsweek story is starting to get under several different patches of my skin.
Reuters is reporting from Islamabad that the Pakistani government remains unhappy with Newsweek. Well, don't feel pregnant, Pakistan. But Pakistani Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed pushes things just a bit with his statement that we need to work harder at understanding the sensitivities of the Islamic people. He says "The apology and retraction are not enough. "They (Newsweek) should understand the sentiments of Muslims and think 101 times before publishing news which hurt feelings of Muslims."
Sorry, pal. I'm not buying it. I getting just a bit beyond the point where I'm all bent out of shape trying to understand Islamic sensitivities. If there is something about your religion that should make me feel badly about poor Muslims getting their feelings hurt, you had better get it out there on the table now. All I see is a religion that seems to take great pleasure in passing condemnations and "death sentences" on various people around the world for all sorts of meaningless infractions of some great system of Islamic law.
I'm just not going to get all worked up worrying about the sensitivities of devotees of a religion that will stone a woman to death for adultery, while letting the man go unpunished.
Sensitivity would not be the word to describe how I feel about a religion that is in some way involved in more than 95% of the actual shooting conflicts and wars around the world.

Thanks for the kind words. JK
Thanks for the link - explains a lot.
Antarctica is a proper noun and should be capitalized.
Not only you.
Like the ping from SJackson from Front Page Magazine that
points out both the Newsweek appologists --and the other side have neglected to say anything about the role played by the bloody freaking Muslims in this. (My identifiers not
those of Front Page Magazine.) IT clearly is Not just Mr.B.
of the church of the apostate reprobate that is getting fed up with the brown nosed french kissing to the slaves of Allah by the politically motivated useful idiots.
"Our Sunni faith stipulates the sword and bullets be the only dialogue between us and worshippers of the cross."
al Zarqawi recent rant. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ Son
of the Living God and pass the ammunition-I say let the
dialogue begin. Or SOG put it Kill 'em all let God decide who allah can keep "
Sorry!!! But any "faith" that advocates killing someone just because they don't subscribe to that "faith", does not seem to me to be a religion, but is instead, a cult.
Personally, I think we should ALL order a fee copy of the piece of trash (CAIR is offering them for freealbeit, the sanitized version, absent the direction to kill all Infidels") and schedule, coordinated book burnings in different parts of the country (at high noon) with plenty of advance media notification.
I say, if they want something to get exercised about, and go off on a killing spree, lets give it to them.
It's not just you; it's just me. I'm 100% certain that islam is a 100% totally false "religion."
Mary Robinson, the shame of Ireland.
I am going to ask for a NEA grant to place a koran in a bucket of pig piss.
Think I will get it?
You'll get their approval provided you find a leftist pig!
There was Coors beer product out a couple of years ago...one of the new "ice" beers. It was called "Artic Ice". I'm still puzzled over that one.
Ted Kennedy comes to mind.

Regardless of how packaged, we are and will remain in a war with many of the muslim factions of the world.
Battles and places and tactics will occur, change, etc.
Media will spin, for both sides. Unfortunately the major media of the US and much of the world are biased in favor of the muslims.
Nevertheless, our military and government must battle on, because this enemy battles on.
