Congrats . I am not sure what all that means but you wanted it and seem to have achieved "it" so I give my bravo. Sometimes we spin our wheels forever going in circles & the other times we soar with the eagles. Seems like this is an eagle time for you. GREAT
Thanks DollyCali. I feel like I spinned my wheels for quite a while, doing something that other people told me to do. This is my 2nd career and it's my choice and I'm loving it, despite the occasional complaining.
btw-what it means is, the study I want to do for my dissertation has passed muster as being original work and a contribution to knowledge in my field. I can (and did) defend it to my Committee and to the academic public. I can now go forth into the field and start interviewing and observing people; actually doing the study. The study is what my dissertation will be about.
