Britney Spears has been told that her new UPN network reality TV show faces the axe unless it attracts more viewers.
The pop diva is said to be so distraught by the news that she is now undergoing counselling sessions to 'come to terms' with her waning popularity reports the London Daily Star.
'The worst thing is that the viewing figures are so low, she's upset that her fans don't seem to care any more. It's painful for her that her fans have stopped listening to what she has to say,' a source was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, the 'Toxic' singer, age 23, has been rapped by her mother for revealing a series of intimate sex secrets on her show.
Her mother, Lynne Spears, called her daughter immediately after the show aired to protest the personal relevations as they set a bad example to Britney's teenage sister, Jamie Lynne.

Ya know,I've defended Britney on here for a while. But I have to say, she has just gone around the bend.

I was going to say the same thing. I was pretty clueless on that one. Then again I usually don't bother with UPN. Actually I don't bother with TV much any more.

She debases herself to appeal to the lowest common denominator of society, then complains because they're shallow and fickle.

Ahhhh....you know, I wish I had her problems, well, some of them anyway.
If she hadnt married that skeeze...and, let's say, married a banker, lawyer, doctor, military guy. And then said, I am going to go back to college (because she married someone that actually told her she could better herself...taken a classier path, etc.) Had a reality show on that, things would have been a lot different. Still...she lived life like a star...few get that opportunity.
