Clinton breaks deal with prosecutor - Now says charges against him as president were false
WORLD NET DAILY.COM ^ | JUNE 1, 2005 | EDITOR

President Bill Clinton told NBC's Brian Williams tonight charges brought against him by the House of Representatives were false, contradicting a plea bargain deal he made with Independent Counsel Robert Ray that he admit he gave false testimony under oath to a federal grand jury.

In a blistering attack on Ray's predecessor, Kenneth Starr, Clinton accused the independent counsel of persecuting innocent people, indicting them because they wouldn't lie and assaulting the Constitution.

"I was acquitted," he told Williams. "And ... the charges that the House sent to the Senate were false. So I did a bad thing. I made a bad personal mistake. I paid a big price for it. But I was acquitted because the charges were false."

There was no follow-up by Williams.

The articles of impeachment passed by the House in 1998 included the accusation that he lied under oath. Yet, Clinton admitted Jan. 19, 2001, as part of his deal with Ray, he had lied under oath while testifying about his relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

"I tried to walk a fine line between acting lawfully and testifying falsely," he said in a written statement. "But I now recognize that I did not fully accomplish that goal and that certain of my responses to questions about Ms. Lewinsky were false.

So, Clinton is lying that he was lying about lying.

Isn't he just proving once again that he is a liar?

The real story here...

"So Bill Clinton is lying when he denies that he lied about his lying?"

That is why there was no follow-up by Williams. He was silently trying to figure out what Clinton was saying.

William's was thinking something like:
"Is Clinton saying that, he lied when he said he lied about lying. Or "is he lying about the lying he lied about lying.... Oh my head is starting to spin....."

Only Clinton can spin so freely. I'm still trying to figure what the meaning of is, is. Holy cow!

Is a refusal to prosecute an aquittal?

Actually, he was impeached which is a guilty vote. The Senate vote was whether or not he would be removed from office. The majority voted no and one dimwit voted under Scottish law.

For you and me there would be.

The clintons have shown time and time again that the laws do not apply to them.

I would not hold my breath waiting og the Attorney General to reinstate the charges.

I got your meaning and agree with your assessment.

The only follow up would have been to ask Williams if he swallowed or spit.

Mere words cannot begin to describe my hatred of the clintond and the news media that worship them.

I hear them in my dreams- As Sandy Berger is stuffing the Clinton FBI documents
in his pants. They say: I hear nothing.... and I say nothing....me, I see nothing....and
I clean up the mess (or steal and burn government records for my master).

It would appear that Clinton's heart surgery did not scare him nearly as much as the Media implied.

There is simply nothing honest about Bill Clinton or 'Clinton et al'. . .

Truth is not a 'value' of the Left. . .never has been; never will be. . .

"we have the facts"

Your right! Republicans couldn't ask for a better man to run the DNC. He will run them off the political map. Every time I read about his latest antics... I wonder, is Dean trying to reach out to the San Francisco liberals. He is wasting the Democrats energy re-fighting the 2004 primary IMHO.

I guess all this news about Mr. Felt has Bubba envious that he's no longer in the limelight. Not only that, he really believes that the reason he was persecuted was because of Nixon's treatment.

Felt, Deep Throat, and Lewinsky. What a RAT legacy.

BUT, WHAT ABOUT WATERGATE?!!!

Oh, I almost forgot we are talking about a REAL CRIMINAL AS PRESIDENT!

Where was W & B during the Clinton administration? TRASHING Linda Tripp and others along with "their friends" in the OLD MEDIA, I'm sure. We can't let ANYTHING replace WATERGATE, now can we?!

The man is twisted and a liar. Maybe Martha Stewart should try this on a judge. Bill Clinton remains impeached. The second president in our history to be impeached. He also is held in contempt of court...perjury.

Brian Williams proves once again that the MSM is horribly inadequate and bogged down by their own bias and prejudice.
