Last week it was all the outrage that Republican Arizona Governor Jan Brewer pointed her finger at President Obama. Some pundits, including Bill Maher, said this incident was unprecedented. It turns out, that is not true. In an August 2006 interview of then President George W. Bush the anchor of NBC's "Nightly News" Brian Williams pointed his finger in the former Commander in Chief's face several times. Williams seemed doubtful of Bush's reading habits, which at the time included a book about a French philosopher and another book about the battle of New Orleans.
  • Brian Williams Gushes Over Shirtless Obama Vacation Photos

On Wednesday's NBC Nightly News, anchor Brian Williams took some time out from reporting the news of the day in order to fawn over President Obama's shirtless athletics on a beach in Hawaii, proclaiming: "...the photos that leaked from the President's vacation that may reverberate with middle aged men everywhere." As still shots of Obama in his bathing suit appeared on screen, Williams announced: "The photos that come out today may make it tougher for men of a certain age who go to the beach for summer vacation this year because a lot of guys are now going to be...

So far the sum total of the times that Operation Fast & Furious has been mentioned on NBC is exactly ONE time and that was when it briefly mentioned in passing on Dateline NBC. Even though this scandal has been much discussed on the Web and covered in detail on CBS by Sharyl Attkinson, Brian Williams has yet to even mention this scandal once. However, there might come a point where even Brian Williams' virgin lips will be forced to be "deflowered" by uttering the taboo words "Fast & Furious." NBC anchor Brian Williams, in the argot of the moment, certainly belongs to "The One Percent." He lives in the glass-encased Bloomberg Tower in mid-town Manhattan, 34 stories above the tony restaurant Le Cirque at 58th Street and Lexington Avenue. For years, he has lived up in the luxury apartment heavens with Beyonce and General Electric chieftains past and present (both Jack Welch and Jeffrey Immelt). He's earned it Yet night after night on the news, Williams and the other 1 percent multi-millionaire anchors dutifully chronicle every new publicity line from the people who "occupy" parks, often public, to claim...

Costulas was on his way to work at the time, police said in a news release today.

A dispassionate look at the NBC Republican debate moderators' questions reveals that they were not themselves dispassionate, which they have a professional duty to be. NBC's Brian Williams and Politico's John Harris put on a clinic in liberal bias and journalistic unprofessionalism as they fired loaded, sanctimonious questions at the debate participants. Debate moderators have no business injecting themselves into the debate or editorializing on the fly as these two did, to their disgrace. They have a duty not to take sides, which these two did, either with particular Republicans against the others or in favor of their political dreamboat,...

That is significant because many on the Left are denying that the crowd was anywhere near that large – some even denying that NBC News had quoted such a number.

Here is video of NBC News anchor Brian Williams on with David Letterman where he talked about the huge dive the stock market took the other day. Williams said that watching the stock market drop 1,000 points in 15 minutes gave him a "kind of 9/11 sickness in the pit of my stomach." He also said, "The dirty little secret is, the world has no money and the Emperor has no clothes." I wonder if Williams has anyone in mind as being the "Emperor?"

NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams and Savannah Guthrie incites, foments violence against Sarah Palin with their egregious insinuations that Palin should be castigated for encouraging conservatives via her twitter and facebook messages to "reload". The video clearly shows they are trying to smear Palin as an agitator of violent protest. Palin herself has condemned any violence when appearing on Fox News last week. If any harm comes to her, they will be responsible and will be held to account.

I am thrilled to report that the Thomas More Law Center will be representing Brian Williams pro bono in the sharia-like charges being brought against him for helping an apostate escape a death fatwa. The Islamic supremacists pursuing Rifqa Bary and the Christians who helped her are trying to enforce sharia law. They will be met with a vigorous freedom of religion defense. The year 2005 is ending as it began, with another successful election in Iraq and a liberal media still flapping around trying to find other controversies to submerge it. It does not matter to them that a Gallup poll found that 74 percent of Americans express confidence in their military, but only 28 percent express confidence in their newspapers or TV news outlets. The "mainstream" media excels in excoriating the performance of nearly everyone else, but acts as if nothing they do should be held up as ineffective, inaccurate or just plain absurd. The media have repeatedly stated how "angry," "hostile" and "ugly" town hall meetings across America are becoming. They are of course largely ascribing the nastiness to conservatives voicing their opposition to (among other things) President Barack Obama and Congress' proposed government takeover of the health care system. The press has been particularly offended by the "extreme" use of references to Adolf Hitler specifically and Nazis generally. NBC News reports on missing Obama birth certificate. On the NBC Evening News broadcast, anchor Brian Williams devoted 3 minutes this evening to the "conspiracy" theory of Obama’s Birth Certificate. He showed the sensational internet video clip of Rep. Mike Castle’s (R-Del.) town hall meeting where the assembled crowd angrily demanded Obama produce his actual Birth Certificate. NBC showed a close up of the words ‘Certificate of Live Birth’ from the document posted on Obama’s campaign website, but Williams erroneously called it Obama’s Birth Certificate, when in fact, they are very different documents. The big story Tuesday night, of course, was Barack Obama’s address to a joint session of Congress. Hard to believe, but Meredith Vieira is apparently not a regular NewsBusters reader. The Today co-anchor would otherwise have avoided an embarrassing lapse. On Today this morning, Vieira claimed that it was only "blogs" that went after Sarah Palin's family matters. That left her vulnerable to McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt's zinger, pointing out that one of her own network's anchors had questioned Palin's ability to serve as vice-president while attending to her children' needs. Schmidt was presumably referring to Brian Williams. As we noted yesterday in Williams Hides Behind Pantsuits to Take 'Who's Minding Baby?' Shot, the Nightly News...

Calm down, you neo-conservative warmongers. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's no more a threat than Congressman Joe Blow back in Cleveland, trying to appeal to the good folks who make up his base. So suggests Brian Williams. Hat tip jazr. Fresh from his trip to Tehran, where he scored a big exclusive with the Iranian president, Williams sat down with Jon Stewart on last night's Daily Show. Is there a pro-Obama bias in the media? Only if you at it from a certain point-of-view according to "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams. Despite allegations of just the opposite, the wall-to-wall coverage of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama's trip to the Middle East then to Europe wasn't a sign of bias - it was just the media attempting to "educate" according to Williams. Williams appeared on CNBC's "Closing Bell" on July 28 to promote the broadcast of his interview with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to be aired on the July 28 "NBC Nightly News." "Closing Bell"...

The three network anchors will travel to Europe and the Middle East next week for Barack Obama's trip, adding their high-wattage spotlight to what is already shaping up as a major media extravaganza. Lured by an offer of interviews with the Democratic presidential candidate, Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric will make the overseas trek, meaning that the NBC, ABC and CBS evening newscasts will originate from stops along the route and undoubtedly give it big play.

Global warming alarmists have frequently attributed extreme weather incidents to manmade global warming, but an NBC Weatherplus.com meteorologist burst “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams’s bubble May 12 when he said recent tornadoes are actually thought to be caused by cooler waters. “[I] talked to three people, casual conversation today, all of them smart saying, ‘I don't know, we must be doing something to our Earth.’ So, once and for all, what’s going on here?” Williams asked meteorologist Bill Karins in an interview about tornadoes that have ravaged parts of the southern United States. But Karins didn’t give any manmade reasons...
