Per Fox News...
Seems it was one of the young men. They found her body. Prime Minister has confirmed.
I'm watching. So very sad, but expected in a way. Prayers for the family.
I take it one of the 3 suspects took them to the body? About time.
Sorry to hear about that!
Did they say where they found it, or how she was killed?
They don't seem to be saying where she was found, just that they did find her. Stand by for more denials from "officials."
Security dudes should sue.
I take it Arooba doesn't have the death penalty?
Thanks, will go turn on the tube...
If these well-connected lads to much time at all for this, I'll be surprised.
So many murders that cause barely a ripple in the press. I always think the ones that become front page news must just shock the perpetrator.
They probably can't believe that THEIR murder is the one all over the media. I knew someone stabbed to death by her husband in front of her kids. You can't find it now, not even on google. Compare that with what happened to Scott Peterson.
If it was the judge's son, do you think he was gonna get the death penalty even if they had it? Watch this one closely!
the three punks, their lawyers, etc..........
Heartbreaking. Heartwrenching. Enraging.
Prayers for her, her family, her friends, and alot of people who need some strength and comfort right now.
They are taking her family to her body before they release any of that. I think I'm going to vomit. I can't imagine what they are going through.
One can only hope forensic evidence is still intact after this time. That could have been part of the strategy - Delay until there is doubt whether the death is an accident or involving violence by one of these three (Or, I guess, others).
Exactly so. The two "security guards" were supposed to take the fall for this. Who knew those pesky Americans would be son tenacious?
son of a motherin....
prayers for the family in this time of need....
Moral of story: don't get drunk off you ass in a foreign country and agree to go someplace with four young local men in a car and start making out with one of them in the backseat if you are a beautiful young blond American. Just because your on vacation doesn't mean that no rules of common sense apply.
A very sad day for her parents and all of us with young daughters.
Too bad they can't extradite the little punk to Alabama.
my guess is it will be....
probably one of those 3 guys is singing like a canary....
I hope a lot of youngsters starting their summer vacations (some of them possibly in places like Aruba) heed your advice.
I wonder why the news media was so confused about this? Our Albuquerque TV had breaking news last night to confirm that she was dead and that one of the men had confessed and were going to lead the police to her body today.
Amnesty will be there to see if they were questioned too "harshly".
That moral applies globally...one should not do that in their hometown, let-alone on vacation.
That's so sad for the family. Prayers have gone up for them...
I was hoping they would find her alive but in my heart I did not think that would happen.
This is so very sad and I feel so sorry for the family.
In case you missed it.
I hope someone threw a couple of desks around during the interrogation.
Is this actually what happened? We had a Swedish babysitter once who got in a car with four guys from a local college. They drove her to Orlando, drinking all the way. When I asked her what in the world compelled her to do something so risky she said it was okay because the boys were also Swedish.
What a dummy, she didn't last long.
They weren't confused. They were trying to get the little *astard to tell them where the body was. The news got out before the prosecutor was ready to release it. That's why the denial from one source and confirmation from another.
nah that it too non-violent for these little bastids...
I would start with the fingers...once those are broken....
why? they have no grounds. they were handled in accordance with aruba law. it's not the USA. all they need is "strong suspicion" to hold you.
Prayers for Natalee and her fmaily. So sad.
For once, the Fox "breaking news gong" really meant breaking news.
That's why I will never be in any kind of law enforcement.
MSNBC doesn't know the body has been found. Lame.
no grounds: What the heck took them so long? They arrested two guys who ended up probably just being in the wrong place at the wrong time: rich vs. poor.
Hope so. In this type of case I would think the examination will require stringency - For example, the Perp could claim a fall or suffocation due to extreme intoxication and the forensics to disprove these explanations might become unclear after this long a time.
Dear God. Her parents must feel some sort of relief. Now, they can bury their daughter. God bless them all.
that is LSNBC for you....
Lame $hit NBC....
Tragic news. Horrible news. Prayers for her family.
sure thing. However, I wonder, since she is an American citizen, if we have any recourse to get the body up into one of OUR labs??
Teach your boys that when a lady says "NO", it means "NO"
