As I heard it, the "security guards" were hanging around the Holiday Inn wearing uniforms from another hotel that had been closed for several weeks for renovation. That alone would make them suspicious persons given her subsequent disappearence.

Heh heh...

All they have to do is check the wires, or Fox news.

They were saying nothing has happened, and last nite it was said one of the slime guys was going to lead them to the body this morning. They are so perplexed. Idiotolts.

That aside, the expert on Fox a few minutes ago was saying his daughter (I believe, of some friends kids) are going to Aruba.
Also, he and the Fox hostess are still going on and on about the "chaperons" not doing their job.

No, you weren't confused. Someone just talked too soon before they were ready to release the information. I guess that person thought they were doing everyone a favor by giving them some kind of news. When the prosecutor came out and said that she would neither confirm or deny it that's when I felt the truth was that it was true and Natalee was dead.

screw that. Chaperones or parents or whomever, there is WAYYYY to much stuff for an 18 yr old to get into in another country.

My kid will NOT be going out of the country right around his/her HS graduation....

All 3 are children of privilage. The Dutch kid was a regular at the bar he wasn't supposed to be in till he was 18. I suspect that I coming days we'll hear all kinds of stories about them walking all over other people.

So many murders that cause barely a ripple in the press.

That has puzzled me as well. Why does the press only hype a few murder cases? I think it may have to do with selecting those they think will get a bigger audience to watch TV or read a newspaper. They have advertising to sell.

I don't know how many here actually held out any hope that she was alive. It was obvious after one day.

I took one of my sons to Maui after he graduated.

Oh, and apparently Natalee was only 17.

And here I thought her parents let her go so she could legally drink.

I'm afraid the Vander Snoot kid, being 17, will if convicted get out when he is 22.

I rarely got out the question before my dad was saying "NO!"

I dont know. It is a different legal system in Aruba. Certainly anything short of a short rope for this kid is wrong though.

I could have sworn she was 18.

Prime minister says authorities not going out to recover body. Hmmmmm

More secrecy.

Mother says she isn't doing anything until she is sure the body has been found.

The Father says he is going to go to see the site and body before the media does.
