BREAKING ***NEWS**** edmond of Top95: - American in Aruba commenting live.
Marriott at this moment they have made the search area larger…nothign yet….dont know if it based upon a confession or just a random search…….police has moved EVERYONE to the Marriott hotel not allowed to be close…they have seen the technical team (TOD) and the FBI that indicates that their is something but what no one knows….all press is being moved away front he area……their is an indication that they don’t want anyone to see what is happening and that maybe they found something and don’t want the press tehir…that is all they have to say…everythign indicates that they may have found something…all local and Int’l press is being moved away from the area.

they moved press far far away….they are closing off everywhere so the police can make the investigation…..another team has arrived…police…in blue coveralls…they dont know who they are….alto of police force to close off the place closing with yellow “no trespassing” tape…their is no access to the MAIN search area….they dont know if a body was found yet but unfortunately they thin that is the case…….THEIR INTERVIEWING SOME ON NOW: he was their in the morning early and they saw some “strange” things and the authority immediately took over…i dont know if the guy is in the construction area

Also in that area there was found earlier in the day a pair of women’s underwear and a number of condoms. However, this is a lovers lane type area. Not sure what to make of this last fact yet.
However, the stories now coming from the arrested group would likely place evidence in this area of the island.
From ABC News, Aruban Police Launch New Search for Teen
Nearly three dozen police officers launched a search Tuesday along a beach near the Marriott Hotel for Natalee Holloway after a former security guard alleged that one of three youths seen with the missing teenager had lied to police.
Antonius “Mickey” John said he was detained in a cell adjacent to one of the young men, 21-year-old Deepak Kalpoe, and that the two spent time talking.
John, 30, said Kalpoe told him that he and his 18-year-old brother, Satish, and their 17-year-old Dutch friend never went back to the Holiday Inn the morning of May 30, the day Holloway disappeared on this Dutch Caribbean island during a student trip.
Kalpoe said they instead dropped the Dutch youth and Holloway off near the Marriott, located just north of the Holiday Inn, on the same beach.
Police cordoned off a three-block area near the Marriott, and government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg confirmed it was yet another search for the 18-year-old from Mountain Brook, Ala., High School.
************* Update: According to Canal 90, one of the 3 boys told the cops that they burried Natalie at the Fisherman’s Huts and that the FBI has two dogs on the scene.

Its funny, that kid at first lookied to me like a shifty snaeky type in the pictures. There is something a guy can pick out that most women are blind to when a guy is just bad. This kid looks like one of those rich spoiled rotten, bad types you don't or can't trust.
This is a terrible situation for the family. On the one hand, if they find her body, at least they will know for certain, on the other hand, they will know for certain. So sad.
I often heard/read the same thing about Ted Bundy...that he was "charming" -- it's the prime reason he was able to lie/manipulate his way with the young women whom he eventually murdered.

I read that. I also read, though, an account from a woman who encountered one of the security guards on the beach a few weeks earlier who said he was very aggressive and persistent in hitting on her, to the point that she got nervous and went into the water to get away from him. So, while I feel bad that these two guys got set up, I also don't think it was entirely unreasonable for the cops to have scooped them up. They had a reputation for pestering women, had prior criminal records, and were fingered by witnesses, albeit witnesses who appear to be the real perpetrators. Those kids weren't stupid; they chose their fall guys well.

You are right. I know that look that Van Der Sloot kid has, I have seen it before. On the face of a kid named Brad Mills who lived down near here, in Coral Springs, and used to give my friends and I a hard time when we visited there in our high school days. Typical spoiled rich brat who desperately wants everybody to know how cool he is. Rammed my friends car from the back with a big pickup and totalled it, got away with it. That same kid (Brad Mills) is now about 10 years into doing manditory 50 years no-parole for beating a veitnamese U of M stunded to death at a Coral Springs party.. just being "cool" you know. Hope it was worth it!
Anyway, that kid always had the EXACT same look on his face as this Van Der Sloot kid in the picture.

i think i heard that a judge was brought in to hear the case from Curacao, so as to avoid any appearance of impropriety. of course, they are avoiding any appearance of competence, in this case, also, IMO, but that's another point entirely...
I thot Scott Peterson had that same snakey look too. And 'charm.' Charm -- I don't often trust. I took a class once in Psych and they talked about perps/spouse abusers, who were always charming, fooled MANY. But they did not fool this gal from the County teaching the class. She gave them the razz-matazz.

Unless that woman is older, or a mother - then the radar kicks in with full force! I think he's a dangerous dude, and would have run a mile from him. He reminds me of Robert Chambers and Scott Peterson - scary.
