I gave the Gipper my three "votes" yesterday at their website...great news! I voted on the principle that he was the greatest American of
my lifetime, and that's certainly true.

As satisfying as the choice may be to conservatives, it bears no relationship to reality.
George Washington is without question the greatest American since he was "the indenspensible man."
Without Washington, America would be a very different place today.
Abraham Lincoln is a close second.
Washington formed the nation and Lincoln preserved it.
