Our Republic is so riddled by Domestic Enemies that I don't think it's salvageable without mass public executions.

I think we need to start charging people with treason again! If they live in America, and they trash their country and the country's protectors (the brave men and women serving)...then they need to be charged and executed, or shipped out to another country.

Woodrow Wilson had Eugene Debs,
a Presidential candidate, charged with sedition and thrown in prison for criticizing American involvement in World War I.
Republicans of today don't have the prunes to do what is necessary. I'm ashamed of them.

So if I get this right these idiots believe the US Military is responsible for their lunatic fringe church being bombed?
That has to be the most incredible ignorant rant I have ever heard in my life! They are ranting that America is going gay and W is responsible. If nothing else, it looks to me like the complete opposite. What do these morons think when every state in the union is voting down all of these gay rights laws. George W is in favor of amending our constitution to make marriage strictly between a man and a woman.
How in the world do they equate this with their homophobic fanaticism? Wow! I thought the liberals were completely off the wall! These lunatics belong in the rubber room!

If this psycho Jackass and his followers are not careful he and his group may just get an early unplanned meeting with God. He and his cowards have no idea what they are messing with. Let him come to Texas and find out. Would be happy to arrange a meeting with God for him. Better be lots of law enforement around or there may be "collateral damage".

Woodrow Wilson had Eugene Debs, a Presidential candidate, charged with sedition and thrown in prison for criticizing American involvement in World War I.Not for criticizing -- for obstructing the draft. There had to be something beyond simple dissent to make a criminal charge stick.
I realize it's only a few people calling for locking up war protesters, but it's still enough to worry me. If Clinton acted as you'd have Bush do, there would be a lot of freepers posting from prison or abroad.

We may be getting to the point where our country can only be saved by "something ugly."I just don't want "ugly" to occur at a funeral for one of our troops. I would like the stopped before they get there.

I'm not calling for locking up war protesters; they have that right. I want to see the Sedition laws enforced against our domestic enemies like Durbin and Kennedy for providing aid and comfort to our enemies.
If comments they make on the Senate floor are being reprinted in Al Jazeera in order to embolden the jihadists, that is the very definition of sedition.

I want to see the Sedition laws enforced against our domestic enemies like Durbin and Kennedy for providing aid and comfort to our enemies. That's a very slippery slope. The folks who criticized the military actions in Somalia and Serbia could have face the same charge. However you see the distinction, do you trust the courts to see it?

That's the one group of folks you definitely can't go after. Members of Congress can't be prosecuted for anything they say while on the jub onder the speechas and debates clause of the Constitution.

"I'm not calling for locking up war protesters; they have that right."
They have a right to *speak* against the war.
In my view, that right does not extend to actions that inconvenience, distress, or endanger others. They have a right to speak, but they don't have a right to try and force others to listen.
