To address your "if true" speculation...the "scandal" aspects of this story have had very little staying power. It appears to be shaping up to be a college prank, and nothing more.
Jim Calhoun still seems to feel that both Price and Williams will be in the starting lineup this fall.... and if he were facing a potentially significant problem with his back court (losing either and especially both of these kids would be a very significant issue) he might have made some mention of it in the past month or so....
I have no ax to grind - I just found out about it ! Lighten up will ya . As for responding to myself , all I did was add something that in my haste ( leaving for work soon ) neglected to post the first time around . I'm a UCONN grad and huge fan of the team BTW .
