I wonder why they don't just build a cofferdam around the wreck, since it's in 23' of water. It'd make things much easier to work on and easier to retrieve the LOOT!

The philosophers Stone about the archeology of any know pirate ship, is a map and instructions to the money pit of Oak Island:

YAAR ME HARTIES !! If the archeologists think Blackbeard had the Oak Island map aboard, it explains why things are going so slowly. They don't want to miss it!

Teach was a good Scot gone wrong, but not by far BTW.

Teach was just ahead of his time. In he had lasted until 1776 he might have become a co-founder of the US Navy along with a guy named Jones?

It's not like treasure hunters haven't been known to 'salt' a wreck with a few choice pieces in order to 'prove' their conclusions about a wreck.

I agree. I don't see many movies and was not a big Johnny Depp fan, but he was so perfect in that role. He really played the character great. I've watched it quite a few times - lol.

Now that's funny.

Who'd a thought on a pirate thread to see his beetle face.

Thanks a bunch.
