Harry Potter is more popular in China than Mao, who's Book of Quotations (known in the west as the 'Little Red Book') has become a rare site and an object of nostalgia, while Chinese Christians continue to suffer horrendous Government persecution.

I had heard about that VW/Ted Kennedy ad but didn't know it was for real! LOL. I wonder if that is just a parody, or was it meant to be a serious ad?? Hard to believe that VW would actually run such an ad. I first heard about the ad from a guy at the YAF conference I attended way back in 1979. I think that was the same attendee who proposed starting a YAF chapter called "Mary Jo Kopechne Memorial YAF." :)

Ted Kennedy just appeared on the Today show moments ago. I had to fight the urge to spit at my TV.

Great 'toons today, Pookie! Thanks for the ping! My favorite was "Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda, where have you been". (All in the name of compassion in the "religion of peace" of course, LOL!)
