why am I not surprised?
deport and stripped of citizenship. TODAY.
Even if the other three-quarters of British Muslims do not believe that terrorism is justified, they can't be trusted, because their ultimately loyalty remains to Islam and not to Britain.
Well, for a long time England has existed without having a muslim community. For some reason it has been called "ye olde merry England". I am not sure that "merry" name is just a coincidence, and tend to see a causal link.
I don't care what they say, they are brought up with the notion that the west is bad and Islam should be the only religion. They are taught this their entire lives. That is why they just can't totally go against their fellow Muslims, no matter how bad they are. They simply just cannot do it.
Let's see... a substantial majority can understand why some people might want to: set off powerful bombs in order to blow themselves apart into bloody hunks of flesh, kill totally innocent people they do not know, destroy any chance that their families can live peaceably in their adopted country, and completely poison relations between that nation's native majority and their specific minority immigrant ethnic group. All this while almost guaranteeing the failure of any political cause they are "fighting for." Well, sure.. who couldn't understand that?
Every bit as difficult as replying truthfully to polls conducted by their perceived enemies, too, no doubt.
I think that if push comes to shove, Muslims will not stand shoulder to shoulder with their fellow Brits against other Muslims. The same is true with Muslims in this country. Blood is thicker than water.
Is there a link to the Daily Telegraph article on this, here at FR?
Here we go:
(At Least) 1 in 4 British Muslims sympathize with terrorists' motives

Good flippin' riddance.
A bit unfair on the sailors who have to put up with them.
I'm not upset by these results. They sound like fairly reasonable numbers, and about what I'd expect.
You will never get 100% agreement from any large group on any issue. If you ran a poll in this country asking whether the aliens from "War of the Worlds" were justified in invading earth, you'd probably get a higher percentage than 6% who said "Yes". Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if at least 6% of the population actually believed it had happened!
Add to that the fact that some poll respondents like to lie, just because they hate pollsters, and that other poll respondents just didn't understand the question. Then add in the statistical standard deviations, incompetent employees asking the questions and noting down the answers, etc. When all is said and done, 88% agreement on anything is a surprisingly high number.
Time for them to go.
The clerics preaching murder should be dropped from helicopters into the closest ocean.
I wonder just how accurate is any survey from members of a cult that requires lying to the infidels in order to survive as part of their practice. I'm sure they all received their marching orders from their Immams or whatever.
