This is a ploy - and it's the same one used by the dems over Bolton's nomination.

The dems also DEMANDED documents they are not privy to - because of the separation of powers. So here they are - because it worked with Bolton .. they believe they will be able to use it again with impunity.

However, Senator Hatch has already said that they will not get away with it this time.

My question is .. WHY THE HELL WERE THEY ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT THE FIRST TIME ..??

He _has_ to do this.

Absolutely correct. This sets the stage. Demand ALL papers knowing full well that a good portion of his writings are protected under attorney-client privilege. This further sets up the argument - "See, they're hiding something".

And Upchuck Schumer can cluck in front of his favorite camera that the candidate is not 'forthcoming' and his answers are 'incomplete'.

Throw in the term "deeply held beliefs" which is code for simply being a good Catholic, and the borking is nearly complete. Blah blah blah from Kennedy and Durbin and the recipe is nearly done.

BUT WE AIN'T BUYIN' IT!

Is John Kerry stupider than I thought?

Of all the Senators, he is the LAST one that should be demanding records from anyone...

But, I notice he hasn't bothered to take the time to stand on the Senate floor and demand this....instead he runs to the LMSM!!!!

The Dems have proven time and time again that they are oblivious to their own rank hypocrisy.

But that only hurts THEM in the long run, as long as we keep pointing out that hypocrisy.

John Kerry urged the White House on Friday to release "in their entirety" all documents and memos from Supreme Court nominee John Roberts'

This statement from a person who refuses to release his DD214 Dishonorable Discharge? Oh, I forgot that "Lust in my heart" Carter gave blanket upgrades to "other than dishonorable" discharges to all of the treasonous anti Americans that refused to serve or served but committed acts to get Dishonorable Discharges. Dang, I also forgot that Klintoon, the draft dodger, pardoned sKerry and upgraded his discharge to (honorable?). All in all, I don't blame sKerry for refusing to release all of that.

Not all records were covered by the limited 180 that he "allowed" the Glob to see. He still refuses to release the appropriate records.

This is the same Kerry that has yet to release ALL of his military files from ALL locations to ALL the public? Tell him to go take up drinking...Teddy will show him how to forget he's a loser.

Personally, I think that we SHOULD make Roberts answer the questions. We can't afford another David Souter.

No - he's just demanding records about other people but won't release his military records about himself. I think that's a bit of hypocrisy .....

John Kerry did nothing of the kind Friday. His staff did. He was taking the day off in France. Saw him on TV at the Tour de France in a car following Lance Armstrong in the race. Yup, JFK, just a regular guy.

How ironic. He didn't have to release his records to run for the highest office in the land...why should Roberts have to do so for a lesser position?

It is double standards...always double standards with socialist liberals.

No thought about the future, just do what they want to do when they want to do it. No rhyme or reason most of the time, at least from empty heads lik Kerry. He is a puppet.
