I believe he finally did to certain friendly media outlets e.g Boston Globe, Washington Post. But if I understood it right, they weren't allowed to actually report on it.

Its just a game to the Rats,..they know that most of these "records" and documents they WILL BE asking for are all either, protected by privilege or are classified,ect...Its just so they can say.."We are trying to support the Presidents choice,but he will not cooperate,blah,blah,blah...its a cheap political ploy....
