So where does Debora Kerr fall in the pantheon af actresses with grace and "class"? How about Grace Kelly? (OK, maybe not a great actress but...)

Grace Kelly was the best looking women ever filmed. She shows up number one. Lauren has some really good lines. "You know how to whistle don't you Steve. You just put your lips together and blow."

Tom is just a goof that big money producers use as insurance on big money films. They need someone in an action film so guys can bring their girlfriends without getting bored. But you can't really take him seriously.

Grace Kelly's private behavior was NOT "classy", even though she came from an upper middle class background. She just looked "classy".

I just adore Greer Garson...in Pride and Prejudice with Laurence Olivier she is just perfect! She was also Mrs. Miniver, I believe, with Walter Pidgeon. Her voice and carriage just typify subtle feminine sex appeal and strength of character IMHO. I think that she is still alive.

I also really liked Lauren Bacall in To Have and Have Not--she was only 19 in that film--and she is really elegant--she even sings with Hogie Carmichael and does a little sexy strut at the end of the film--her and Bogie sure had chemistry on their side. Bogie and Walter Brennan round out the cast.
