The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

I think that part of the problem with the "enemy within" is that there are probably thousands like him; who have been here for 20 years...some more and some less. But they own markets, they have families and they are what most consider to be the "moderate" Muslims. But slowly they are all being revealed for the wolves in sheeps clothing that they really are.

***Customs Blocked Accused Suicide Bomber***

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Customs authorities blocked a Jordanian man from entering the country 20 months before he was accused of carrying out an Iraq suicide bombing, according to an internal Homeland Security memo obtained Wednesday.

The Aug. 22 memo to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff credited Customs agents with identifying Ra'ed Mansour al-Banna as a suspicious traveler on June 14, 2003, when he flew into Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. (snip)

Spain investigates Al Qaeda threat against Vatican:

Madrid: Spanish police are investigating a fax sent to a television station and newspaper containing veiled threats against the Vatican in the name of Al Qaeda, police said Wednesday.

The three-page text in Arabic was sent to state television TVE Monday and to the daily ABC Tuesday.

The author accuses the Vatican of having supported the Nazis and the Iraq war. He justifies the recent terrorist attacks in London and the 2004 Madrid train bombings as acts of legitimate defence against "terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan".

Police believe an Al Qaeda sympathiser sent the fax, according to ABC. Police sources described the text as a "generic threat" which does not mention any names of potential targets at the Vatican.

Read my about page list of recommended reading and you'll notice it is FULL of books on CFR/Trilateralism/Bilderburgers/ & The FED. I know all about that threat. I've spent the last 15 years studying the threat of globalism. Only recently, since I've come back to the Christian fold as it were, have I begun making the connections to Biblical prophesy.

If you spend time on google researching this stuff, you won't find a fraction of the data there is to be mined. With which group do you think the google folks align themselves? For conservative or patriotic searches....google is NOT our friend!

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown.

Some time yesterday, IRRC, Cindy published a link to a story about how Scotland Yard prevented a nerve gas attack against Parliament recently. I have not seen anything in the MSM on this and not too much here on FR. I think I saw one thread with a very minimal number of posts. This is a HUGE story with potential ramifications here on home soil. Sarin ain't something you whip up in your garage, it would take a fairly sophisticated lab and hardware to do this. IMHO, it would take the resources of a nation-state to produce a device to be used in a terror attack, even if it was a piece of military ordnance, like a landmine or artillery shell. Identifying an actual nation whose chemical weapon is used against us gives us a viable nuke target coordinate.

LOS ANGELES — The head of the Los Angeles Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Bureau is resigning for a new job.

John Miller will leave the LAPD to become assistant director of the FBI's Office of Public Affairs.

Police Chief William Bratton recruited Miller in an overhaul effort of the city's counter-terrorism operations after the September 11th attacks.

Miller's assistant, Commander Mark Leap will head the LAPD's operations until a permanent replacement can be named.

Greek Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Wheels Jammed - The Associated Press Published: Aug 24, 2005

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - An Olympic Airlines flight bound for Brussels with 132 people aboard made a successful emergency landing Wednesday at Athens International Airport after its landing gear jammed, officials said.

Olympic Flight 147, a Boeing 737-300, took off at 4:20 p.m. and landed at 5:55 p.m. after reporting the problem and being placed in a holding pattern over the island of Kythnos in the Aegean Sea....

Here's what spurred my request while following Vatican threat links:

The fax is entitled “Operation Vatican” and “Iraq and the world terrorist attack.” In it, the author says the bomb attacks in London in July and last year in Madrid were “in self-defense against the terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

According to the paper, the document criticises the Vatican for its alleged role in the extermination of millions of Jews in World War II, saying, “Hitler was a scapegoat of the Vatican and 44 million people were assassinated by the Nazis so as to rob them of their riches.”

“The Iraq war won the support of the Vatican for the capitalist countries, all for Iraqi oil,” the paper quoted the fax as saying. “Those governments will reap the harvest for their support and for the reason they killed.”

The fax appears to contain few similarities to the one signed by 'Serhane the Tunisian' and sent to ABC on 3 April 2004 after the coordinated train bombings in Madrid on 11 March that killed 191 people and injured 1,460. This was much more resolute in tone and contained much more of a concrete threat against Spain.

He asked what I was working on and we talked about the photos.

He says that I have my computer screen set too dark, and that is why some things don't show in the photos.

It is set for me to read the print, and therefore, I would
see different things in photos or not as much.

On photo in 2919 lst on list of the black horse and OBL,
I had asked what the c and l was on the line with the sword and bomb in the signature.

Instantly, he said it is the gun, the c is the stock the
l is the trigger and the rest of the line is the barrel.

He also caught that the horse changes to a warrior and he is holding a flag and a gun, that matches the line.

I begged J to join us here, sure hope he does.
