A Sevier County man accused of raping four teenage girls and faking his death is under arrest in South Carolina.
Kevin Allen Gentry, 34, has been on the run for more than a year with a Sevier County girl who is now 16 years old.
Investigators say Gentry faked his death on the coast of North Carolina in Nags Head back in April. He left a taped suicide message in his car.
The U.S. Marshal's Office helped arrest him Tuesday afternoon in Bennettsville, South Carolina.
Investigators approached Gentry as he was going into a convenience store. They say he was using a British accent and went by the name Alex Sebastian Hendrix.
The girl was sitting in a nearby RV that the couple was living in. She told police she is two months pregnant.
The Department of Children's Services says she ran away from a Morristown home, after being in state custody for a week in May of 2004.
Investigators say Gentry was a friend of her mother's.
Gentry is fighting extradition and being held on $500,000 bond. He also underwent a mental evaluation Wednesday.
He faces three counts of statutory rape and one count of rape of a child in Sevier County. A grand jury indicted him on charges of having sex with four girls between May 2003 and 2004. The girls who ranged in age from 13 to 15.
If the parents were to get a hold of him, I bet he wished he was dead.
My first thought on reading the title was a new FR cult word: Sevier (severe). However, it was not as series as originally thought.

First off this statement is a lie, Mr. Gentry is NOT fighting extradition and does not have a bond set yet.
