Who's Harry Reid anyway? If he's some metal guitar player ODing on meth, you can count on my prayers!

I keep coming up with a jaded question about what a minor stroke is and what is his name? It's unkind, but I keep asking who a minor stroke would be.

"a minor stroke", eh? --- well, let's see ......... a masturbating dwarf?

Reid is a pretty ineffective minority leader, so I'd prefer to see him stay on the job. And after suffering a stroke, I can't help but wonder if he's touched base with his God and given thought to mending his dirtbag ways.

Nope - not when they're trying to destroy the society that I'd like to be preserved.

Unfortunately, love and compassion aren't really optional in Christianity. But Christianity itself is optional.

I suppose your also praying for the devil too?

misguided Reid yes, Osama No!

I'm glad to hear that - Harry Reid had a TIA, apparently, while Mrs. King had a stroke.

I don't like the sumbitch one bit.......but I will pray for his recovery. Strokes are nasty things; no one deserves one.

Exactly. The problem with calling temporary symptoms (TIA) a mini or mild stroke is that the erroneous title leaves little room for describing the condition where symptoms lasting more than 24 hours are not debilitating.

Was relieved to see the MSM finally got the description of Reid's condition correctly indicated.

Praying for him to see the truth, cease his actions, etc. yes. Its a requirement of the religion to love everyone. Sometimes its real hard. But its part of what we are asked to do. Even so, it doesn't change the prayer for justice to be served. It is possible to love your enemy, and pray for justice for those he has done wrong at the same time. There is no conflict. The above is what makes us not like him.

So you are saying you would also pray for the devil?

Satan is not human, we weren't asked to love him. We were asked to love our fellow humans and pray for their salvation, even despicable enemies. It's hard to do, but the one who took the punishment for our own sins asked us to pray for other sinners also, even the worst ones. Considering what we were given, its not that much to ask really.

Osama bin Laden is one of the worst humans to walk the face of the earth. But according to my understanding, Jesus would willingly take the punishment due Osama if Osama ever bothered to knock at the door. Do you criticize him for that? It's the same thing you criticize me for only on a divine scale with bodily injury and undeserved death involved (whereas I am only asked to pray a little).

Christianity makes sense to me and I don't feel like altering it to a hateful religion, or ignoring it, for Osama. Satan will be just as happy with my hate for Osama as he is with Osama's hate of me. Satan has used Osama to create a lot of hate, vidictiveness, and vengefulness amongst good people. In me too even though I know the deal and am trying to avoid it. Pray for justice instead and try to avoid letting Osama spread the hate and vengefulness to you because that's what Osama is being used for. If justice is served, Osama will have a plate full.

Osama has not asked for forgiveness so until he knocks on the door he is enabling and sanctioning evil!

I don't wish bad things on ole dirty Harry, but honestly, I don't really care enough about him to wish him well either.

Where did I say he wasn't, and how does that change the requirement to pray for our enemies to see the light?
