What ISN'T said is that the folks MOST responsible for the pitiful immediate response to the disaster in NOLA are corrupt, inept Demoncraps.
Actually, according to Pat Roberston...God caused Katrina to smite the wicked NOLA and also to shut up Cindy Sheehan and detract coverage from the Roberts confirmation hearings. The DU lefties believe all of it also, excet that it wasn't God that caused the storm, it was Karl Rove..
As if FEMA and the Executive Branch are the only agencies in North America that have the capacity to plan and execute disaster relief.
Oh geez, yes. Even my husband's diehard democrat union guys are ticked off. They know that President Bush did not cause the hurricane, global warming, nor did he order the people into the stadium without preparations.
They blame that feckless mayor and governor.
I read that it is the second time Allah has answered their prayers.
Note too the "surprise" when the locals don't riot after winning a sports championship. Houston isn't like other cities.

As an outsider all I can say is that the rest of the world is astonished that five days after the disaster struck places like the Superdome are without US officials and troops.
There were American troops in Indonesia two days after the tsunami.
Even Rupert Murdoch's Sky News has basically called the National Guard cowards for "refusing to go down streets because men have guns. Can you imagine the British Army refusing to go down Liverpool because there were dangerous men? It would never happen!"
Oh hell, you should have heard the N.O mayor spewing out his "IT'S BUSH'S FAULT" mantra last night! Unfortunately, because the mediawhores despise W, everything is falling into place for them! That's all I've been hearing from the moment I woke up! I'm afraid it's becoming a losing battle against the presstitutes! Right now, they are sitting pretty and righteous, licking their nasty little sniveling chops! They can almost taste the downfall of W's legacy! One news person said the other day, "So he's coming to N.O. I wonder if he'll have a bullhorn moment like in NY(he chuckled) the folk there are angry and I don't think they'll be very controlled in the confrontation! This reporter was down right giddy...DAMN CLYMERS!
How dare Sky News call the National Guard "cowards"! The only cowards are those sitting in safety blasting the Bush Administration for the actions of criminals. Where's the blame for the state/local government? Where's the blame for the NO police dept that stood by while people looted televisions and jewelry?

True it is. There are two camps in this mess -- the DETRACTORS which are causing trouble just to be doing just that, then there are those who are dealing with the real facts, as you have done. My post referred not to the factual side, but the trouble-making political opportunists who are trying to exploit the situation purely for political gains.
