He's all over this...
Yup, ole Jerry is pretty smooth and pretty smart.
Where does he broadcast out of?
The station here in the Twin Cities that plays his show runs him at midnight.
I always thought he had an overnight show.
Is this the same Jerry Doyle who used to be security chief on a space station?
We don't get him locally in St Louis at all. I have to listen to the stream.
Exactly right, Michael Garibaldi. I knew there was a reason I liked him on B5 and know we see why that was.
yep, I believe he was also a fighter pilot.
Loved Michael Garibaldi's Daffy Duck poster in B5.
No, he's an "honorary" one.
I thought he was live (out of Vegas) from 9 to midnight Central?
I understand he made a fortune on wall street and just decided he would like to try acting. He says he was too old to join the Air Force.
He has a personal home page.

His actual show hours look kind of strange. You can email him directly from his site.
Yep! you guys are right. I just read his bio.. He did take flight training though.
From his websiteHe received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, while also receiving his flight training.
After graduation, he joined the marketing and sales division of Falcon Jet Corporation.
I sort of liken him to Michael Dorn, who even owns an old fighter jet, if memory serves.
We have something in common, he likes airplanes and so do I. :D
I was listening to him on WBAP on 820 out of Dallas. I haven't listened to him (or anyone else, for that matter) since Terri Schiavo, because I just got burned out for a while on all the radio jibber-jabber.
He's pretty good, though. He give Ted the Drunken Whale no quarter, and makes fun of that idiotic Fox News Alert (whooshing noise and a bell) that appears every 2 minutes whenever Michael Jackson breaks wind.
I loved the episode where the poster was explained to one of the aliens as the Egyptian god of frustration.
I listened to him until last night.
He has taken stands on certain issues I very strongly disagreed with in the past, and I just shrugged it off. It's ok to like a talk radio host that doesn't agree with you all the time, it's good to hear the other side argued reasonably.
Hell, I used to listen to Alan Colmes just for fun until he started getting off on WAY too many non-political issues on his talk radio show that USED to be syndicated in San Diego, but apparently enough people like me left the show for the same reason (I'm guessing here).
But, last night, Doyle said something about Bush, and the federal government's role in the Katrina debacle that just pissed me off too much.
I'm in VERY strong disagreement with Bush on illegal immigration, (I'd vote for Tancredo for any office I could vote for him in.) but not so much that I let just anyone talk trash about Bush and let them get away with it.
I'll scan through the podcast and see if I can find it and post it here. You can download the .asf (27 MB) here:

or the .wav (27 MB) here:

If anyone can convert this to MP3 and upload it to me or make it available elsewhere, I'm sure some people would appreciate it.
Wow, I gotta listen to that. I really, really hope you misunderstood him or something.
Thanks for the links.
