I just watched the marathon on the Hallmark channel two weeks ago. Little House has been and always will be my FAVORITE show of all time. It's on the Hallmark channel every day from 1-3 mountain time.

I think Rehnquist probably had to know that he wasn't going to make it even to the end of the next SCOTUS term. He probably planned on retiring after Roberts was confirmed, so that the President wouldn't have to try and shepherd two nominations through an extremely hostile Senate at the same time. Not only did God screw up those plans, but He decided to make thiongs really interesting by sending Katrina right smack in the middle of it all.
