He is too busy being PRESIDENT to worry about what people are saying about him.

It's not just what people are saying about him. The fact is the American people have developed a majority opinion that the federal government failed to help the people of New Orleans when they needed help. That is a massive lie that needs to be addressed and the President can easily address it as I have indicated.

I was responding to the idea that WE have a responsibility to defend the President against lies he won't challenge himself.

Is the President too busy to state the simple truth?

In politics, charges unanswered are considered true.

I wouldn't call 13% a majority by any stretch of the imagination.

I don't disagree with your desire to have the President speak up against the massive lies about him.

I just disagree with your loss of respect for him for it. It's who he is. And he IS occupied with more important things than his own popularity.........a good thing, IMO. You too?
