Thank you for your service to our country. My son (Army Aviation) has been to Iraq and is heading back in October. His best friend (USMC) is returning in late September (he just reinlisted). They are both 22 yrs old and proud to serve their county.
And for the nay sayers about WMD's, the UN gave Saddam plenty of time to get them out, but even if there weren't any, my son enlisted AFTER is was said there were no WMD's. He went to fight for the people who had been tortured and oppressed for decades, and I, for one, and pretty darn proud of him.
And you should be.
Both of them, along with their comrades, are getting the job done. They are heroes.
Some on this forum just don't understand or don't give a damn.
Pretty sad commentary on some here I think.
