EJ Dionne: "The Bush Era is Over"...Buchanan: "The Dems are pathetic (paraphrasing)"
Hardball ^ | 9/15/05 | Hardball/Chris Matthews

Posted on 09/15/2005 2:59:37 PM PDT by Embraer2004

EJ DIonne was pontificating that Bush's Presidency and era is over. He seemed thrilled..however, Chrissy Matthews said: "Who can take the bullhorn away from Bush?" Dionne said: The bullhorn is in the water". Pat Buchanan was watching these two with disgust and proclaimed: "Who do the Democrats have? Hillary, Kerry? Pleeeasseee...When I was with Reagan during the Iran-Contra Scandal, we took a beating for 6 months and at the end of Reagan's Presidency he had a 70% approval rating. Bush is still the President, don't forget that, he can use the military, Congress, he can make many decisions, he still has all the power" EJ DIonne looked sad and said that Iraq is going wrong, blah blah bkla. Pat Buchanan then explained that the War is important and crucial, Bush cannot pull out" Chrissy Matthews was hyperventilating and EJ DIoone continued to talk unintelligible rubbish as usual. I cannot stand EJ DIonne, what a loser

Yep, the Bush family is fast becoming an American dynasty that all the Dims pined for with the Kennedy Klan.

"IIRC the Clinton never got more than 46% of the vote......."

You recall correctly.

The only folks who smear Pat as soon as they see his name are those who don't put American interests first.

That "America First" label Buchanan claimed is really good propaganda, isn't it.

I smear Pat, and saying that I don't put American interests first is an insult. I just disagree with how to get the job done.

Pat's been predicting doom and gloom for the US for as long as I can remember. Yet the economy is better than ever and looking fine, precisely because we do encourage international trade, not protectionism as Pat wanted.

Pat is an economic idiot. But he is right, the Dems are pathetic. It's just too bad that he's spent so much time in the last few years criticizing Bush instead of the idiot Dems.

Pat puts American interests first.

No, Pat puts himself and his racist/xenophobic views first.

There was a rumor roaming around here, probably planted by a DU freeper saying Chrissy was going to get the axed by this Friday, MANY freepers were all giddy and excited at the prospect of FAGGY CHRISSY going away soon, BUT DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH!! Msnbc loves this loser, ratings be damned!!

I do believe Bubba got 49 and change (but below 49.5) in 96 against Bob Dole. In 92 vs. 41 Bubba received about 42%.

As I recall, EJ was a member of the Young Communists when I was in college.

Oh, yes. We're all out of work and standing in soup lines now.

No housing bubble either for that matter...

I had the brains to buy as much real estate as I could afford several years ago. I saw the "housing bubble" break in Houston in the 80's and the LA "housing bubble" break in the the 90's. Neither place lost more than 10-15% or so of its value.

I'm up almost 120-150% over what I paid for my real estate. Even assuming it will "burst" and follow the pattern of Houston and LA, I'll be far better off than I was.

You and Pat wallow in doom and gloom if you want. I'm not going there. No future in it.

I stopped watching Chris Matthews last year during the election when he tried to get Kerry elected. Matthews and Biden are both sarcastic wiseguys and go off the liberal deep end regularly.

"The bullhorn is in the water".

DumRat liberals and their idiotic bumpersticker slogans. That's all they've got: Words that have no business being next to each other in the same sentence.

Pat is a great American. I met him once in Nacodoches. He has a remarkable and infectuous sense of humor. Very bright guy. He does recognize that German leaders look out after the interest of Germans and French leaders look out after Frechmen, and he has concluded that American leaders should first look out after American interests. Most on FR agree with him on immigration, fiscal, and moral issues, and many disagree with him on trade isssues. But most FR don't agree with President Bush on 100% of the issues. The war in Iraq, Buchanan agrees, has to be won by the Americans, though he disagreed with its beginning.

I'm interested in your net worth. How much?

How much money did you make last year?

How much in your bank account?

If you're going to boast about how smart you are, give us all the details.
