The NYTimes rips on Bush big time whether they like what he says or not. It doesn't really matter.
The federal government pays for nothing. It's just them making the rest of us pay.
It would also help if it was followed by some speaking of the truth and an end to the race-baiting but, alas, right afterwards, there was Rita Cosby prentending the President said that New Orleans had much of the power back on (he specifically referred to Miss.) and Jesse Jackson was fanning the flames from a script he'd obviously prepared before the speech in conjunction with the DNC.
Blah Blah Blah. I am having visions of the teacher in Charlie Brown right now.
check Drudge - Reuters admits potty note pic was faked...
Because... that's who lived there
I noticed the times wasn't lamenting the fact that most of the folks splattered out of Cantor Fitzgerald were white and upper middle class
Because in the world of the New York Times those people deserved it...
Ugh. What is it with this "Mr. Bush" crap? I know they don't want to even admit he's the President, because that would accord him a certain level of respect they don't want to show, but it's annoying nonetheless.
Whenever I hear someone use the term - healing process - I know they're a wuss.
There were many thing obvious to television viewers.
Frankly, I reall get PO'd when folks do not refer to our President of the United States as, "Mr. Bush."
As far as I am concerned, these same people probably piss on our Flag. OTOH, in an informal manner we refer to President Bush as "w," or "Dubya." The difference is, our expression for the President and Commander in Chief is for fondness, love, and respect for the man, and his position as POTUS.
IMO
OTOH, Clinton will always be... fill in many blanks.

Problem is, I bet the poor have been in this area of New Orleans that was flooded for DECADES! That means it has gone through numerous DEMOCRATIC mayors, governors, city council.
Where is the outrage on that?
I can't remeber Bill clinton being called Mr. Clinton when he was Pres.
All the anchors got that DNC fax telling them to state that the President was somehow pretending that the lights were on everywhere.
All of the anchors said the same exact thing.
It was not faked. All they did to the picture was adjust the contrast. It was despicible news judgement but it wasn't fakery.
I wonder when all these self-righteous librals are going to realize that they have the same problems in their own cities. What will they do about their own poor. huh?
They imply W was uncertain after 911 and Katrina, arrogantly assuming a Dem admin would have been totally prepared and under control of both situations from the outset.
