Without reading the article, I'm convinced it's that Franco-Amish terror cell.
Why would the attack a Nation they already defeated?
Their "reward" for opposing the US on Iraq, apparently.
I guess France was about to be attacked becuase of their strident support of U.S. efforts in Iraq.
Well, if France wasn't part of the forces in Iraq, the Islamists wouldn't be attacking them.
Wait a minute, they're not. What gives?
Could it be that Islamists will find a rationalization for attacking Western countries, one way or the other?
This is Hugh and Series. What if France has to surrender to itself! Is that a paradox that could destroy the universe?
Keep me updated.
Welcome to the party Jacques.
Ping. You might want this article for your bookmarks.
What, you mean being anti-American and anti-war, and turning your government and society over to Islamophilic leftist scumbags isn't enough?
I guess until 100% of the French face Mecca and prostrate 5 times a day under the black cloud of Islam, nothing will appease the bloodthirsty b@stards.
(hats off to Harper)
It was thwarted because once the french found out about the plot, they immediately surrendered. Thus making the plot unneccessary and thwarted.
...including an Islamic militant previously convicted on terrorism charges and freed from prison two years ago...

Whoa! I guess rehabilitation efforts didn't work. Next time lose the key!
They want to kill us all, so i'm hoping the French are 'getting it" now. However, since the attack was thwarted the lesson will probably no sink in.

Tuesday, September 27, 2005
PARIS
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Police arrested nine people Monday, including an Islamic militant previously convicted on terrorism charges and freed from prison two years ago, officials said.
Le Figaro and Le Parisien newspapers said the alleged cell's suspected targets included the Metro, a Paris airport and the Paris headquarters of the Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (search), or DST, a police intelligence and counterterrorism agency. The reports did not identify the airport.
Le Figaro said the suspected cell allegedly had Al Qaeda (search) contacts and that some of its members had knowledge of explosives."
