Now Libs Are Complaing About Bush's Travel
CNN

Posted on 09/27/2005 1:36:33 PM PDT by davidtalker

I am undergoing my usual afternoon masochism. I am viewing CNN and "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer and Jack Cafferty. It's like getting a barium enema.

Anyhow, they are spending the usual amount of time bashing Michael Brown. I thought Brown should have been fired. He was ineffective. However, his point today that local and State Government in Louisiana were dysfunctional is spot on and they are all but ignoring that.

However, their new focus is ridiculing the President for call for conservation while travelling extensively after Hurricane Rita. These people are so flippin lame. Then Cafferty takes the usual DU-sounding e-mails saying,"yea flying Air Force One at $6000 an hour..."Can you imagine what the Rats would say if he ensconced himself in the White House or Crawford to save fuel?

It's fantastic.

I've mentioned this before, but they don't know when to stop. It's like a kid during a very long drive saying, "Are we there yet," over and over and over and over and over and over and over, until....

the you-know hits the fan.

Repetition only works in certain circumstances and the dems haven't figured that out yet. I'm certainly not going to tell them when it does.

Don't know why you want to be masochistic and watch CNN. Anyway:

I thought Brown should have been fired. He was ineffective

Haley Barbour said the opposite. No one complained about the FEMA hurricane management last year. Did you want him to personally evacuate NO?

How many campiagn/fund raising trips to BJ take? And was he alone in the flying bedroom at all times (except when Cankles Hitlery was in there throwing ash trays at him)?

Soon enough, if the media keeps amplifying even the smallest dem gripe, the public will become wise to the fact that they complain NO MATTER WHAT Bush does.

He may as well do as he pleases. They can't possibly bitch any louder.

I remind Democrats that WJC used Air Force One like a taxi.

Someone should tell Cafferty that no one likes an angry drunk.

They also sent Hillary and their kid on an all-expenses-paid vacation to India which, btw, was a huge boondogle.

This should not surprise anyone. If President Bush had not gone into the areas, they would have accused him of not caring. Once he went, they then started accusing him of "photo ops." And now of course, they start in about the "cost."

The left continues with its playbook, starting from page one - "Whatever the opposition does, attack attack attack!"

However, their new focus is ridiculing the President for call for conservation while travelling extensively after Hurricane Rita.

But they were complaining that he was too aloof, that he needed to be on the ground, showing that he cared... Which is it?

FEMA responded to Katrina faster than they did to Andrew or any of last years hurricanes. Are we to believe that Brown just got lucky covering three hurricanes in FL last year, and suddenly became incompetant?

The whole idea that they were slow is BULL$#!+.

Blanco and Nagin were a corrupt Dem government who failed to act and the media tried to pin it on Bush...period.

I believe in his last year in office BJ was away from the White House for 225 fundraising events.

"Whatever the opposition does, attack attack attack!"

And the counterdoctrine to that goes as follows: You know whatever you do they're going to attack, so figure out what side you want them to attack from, and act accordingly.

I agree. It's frustrating to see even Freepers swallow the garbage about Brown who is a good man.

I guess it's because they're watching CNN.
