Ben and Jerry's running ad blaming 'Bush's Illegal War' for New Orleans Deaths
Fox News

Just shown on Fox News --
Ben and Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen is co-sponsoring a full page ad in towmorrow's NY Times allegedly showing dead people floating in water in New Orleans over the declaration that 'If Bush hadn't sent the Army to an illegal war in Iraq there would have been enough troops in the US to avoid the death toll from Hurricane Katrina.'
Does it get any more loathsome than this?

Do you have some brands to recommend? I've been looking for some non Ben and Jerry's ice cream that is natural and does not contain vile corn syrup.

I didn't realize the Coast Guard served in overseas conflict. Is that the case?

My comment's to Ben & Jerry's:
"Trying to score petty political points on a tragedy, because of your mindless hatred of George Bush is pathetic. Get over it, you and your kind lost and will continue to lose. Stick to selling ice cream, you had a good product but I'm unable to buy it because it seems to have a taste of bile in it."

I'm glad they're running the ad in the New York Slimes. That means nobody will see it.

Darn. Now I'm going to have to give up Cherry Garcia. I learned of their Marxist sympathies some time ago.Since that day,not a single microgram of their products has passed my lips.
To: pabianice
Pardon me for asking this, but I'm not from that part of the country and I've never had Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. Do Ben and Jerry make more than ice cream with each other? Just wondering.

"folks in the middle will look at them and think, "what a bunch of a-holes...""
I don't know about that, seem the mediaWHORES and anti-American crowd are having a small impact on the public! We must NOT fool ourselves!! Regularly, all I've seen on the tube are the socialist crowd and the presstitues slamming the war, constantly beating the war drum, while the pubs at the Hill hide in the closet and twiddle their thumbs!! WHERE is our ATTACK machine?? WHERE??!! Where is the majority of our representatives? Why aren't they up in front of the tube defending our military? With them being so silent, they are letting our boys in uniform down by NOT defending them against these evil bastards! McVAIN should've being in the front row leading the charge, instead he meets with that vile woman Sheeham...DAMN DISGUSTING! He did what Hanoi Jane did to our Vietnam vets! He met with the enemy!! And at the end she got her wish and still managed to call him a "WARMONGER" as soon as see walked out the door! Ughhhh, it makes me so mad!!

Painful to not indulge my B&J sweet tooth any longer, but Perry's ice cream is almost as good, and much more affordable.

"Troops out of occupied New Orleans!" --C. Sheehan. What was Katrina anyway? A little wind and a little rain. Sure, it's important, but there are other things going on in the world too... (like me).

Bryers gets my vote too, Snakeman. I strayed with Evie's and found it creamy good, but returned to the fold.
T & J's has too much butterfat, like HaagenDaaz.
To: Beckwith
The new Ben & Jerry's owners might want to consider putting out a new flavor, Dubya Deelite or something, to counteract the bad press.
