From Staff Reports
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.

The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.

The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.

After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

"Bali was at 8 PM their time, not Central."

I am looking at the World Clock and Bali isn't listed. Can you give me another country whose time zone is the same as Bali?

I don't know, pa mom. There seem to be enough indications that this story has more to it.

I know - big city people (and I used to be one) sometimes overestimate their importance in the grand scheme of things.

they have no further information and what information they do have they are not reporting right now

I know...this is what is bizarre. This makes me think the Feds have a clamp-down in effect because normally reporters do not act this way.

"Some early reports indicated 2/3 middle-eastern men AKA Islamo-fascists."

Now see, here's a good example of how stories of cannabalism at the Dome get started. "Some early reports" basically is one story that PKMom told about a girl she heard of who said she saw two guys running towards the stadium and they may have been middle eastern. That's it - just one hearsay report that people were seen running around after an explosion.

Still waiting to find out whether the "individual suicide by explosion" victim is a muslim...

Presumably the guy and his wallet were blown to smithereens so it would be near impossible to immediately discover his identity.

I suppose they would have to wait until a house/roommate reported someone missing. But what if they guy is from out of town? They may never discover his identity.

College stadiums are probably a better target since many are in smaller towns. A stadium in a town with a tiny police force is an easier target than one in Chicago or New York where they have specialized anti-terror police units.

However, I'm betting that this was a work accident and the "victim" was an eco-terrorist on his way to plant the bomb in a bio-science building. He was probably betting that the campus cops would be so focused on the game that he could slip into any building on campus without detection. Unfortunately for him, the bomb was unstable.

This is all starting to sound like the authorities DID get a tip and kept it under wraps.

That would be the key. Then again, if it was a muslim it still may not have been terrorism. But that would be hard to determine, perhaps. If he was a student, he could have been legitimate, or he could be a plant from a cell.

This has been blacked out so clumsily, and yet the sheeple for the most part are unaware. I shouldn't be surprised in the least when the 'official story' is given such that there was no person involved at all but rather spontaneously combusting swamp gas.

I have one to add which was confirmed. Some of the campus Parkview Apartments (about two blocks from the stadium) were evacuated and searched.
