Boi or grrl? Youth culture testing the boundaries of gender identity and roles

CHICAGO — When it comes to gender, Alex Polanco is not easily pegged. Some days, he wakes up in the morning and feels male, pulling on jeans and a T-shirt and leaving it at that. Other times, he wears makeup and one of the wigs he keeps in tidily packed boxes in his bedroom closet

This Nancy Boy would be very popular in prison, if, like, its popularity he's after.

Nah, the line is from much later in the song. They spell her name in the beginning.

I met him in a swamp down in dagoba
Where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda
S o d a, soda

I saw the little runt sitting there on a log
I asked him his name and in a raspy voice he said ...
... no, wait, that was the other song ...

Good luck to you on that endeavor!

And for those lurking from the left, I would suggest that "wining" works better than "whining"...

I stated elsewhere that it all boils down to one thing...

Going down and/or takin' it it the rear, or making love to a woman is easily justified, with no remorse. And the POS author of this POS article contributes greatly to the "Diseased Mind" and keeps it and others going.

Caused by nurture environmental problems:

"He now keeps a photo album of shots taken of himself both as a woman and a man. Included in it, is a a boyhood photograph taken with his mother, who died of AIDS when he was 14."

Gee, any guesses how his mother acquired AIDS? Bet it was not through blood transfusion.

....And on a different level, it’s also very personal — trying to figure yourself out,” says T.J. Jourian, a 24-year-old graduate student at Michigan State University who specifically calls himself a “transmale” — not just male — because he doesn’t want people to place his gender into a simple box.

Dang! I spend all those teenage years trying to place my gender into a simple box

Jesus said: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6

He/she/it sounds like the typical DUer.

No kidding. I think we've got a picture of he/she/it showing up at a Code Pinko rally...

(Note: this photo was not altered in any way. This is the sort of weirdo that the Leftists just looooove.)

The mainstreaming of mental illness. These folks need help with their psychosis, not validation of their delusions.

Gender is determined at the genetic level. "Feeling" different does not and cannot change that.

I think that might be news to some people. Maybe they need to go back to HS Biology.

Haha. I caught that too. I wonder if the author put that pun in there on purpose. Probably not, given the sappy tone of the article.

She believes this more recent experimentation also will influence acceptance in a society where gender identities are already blurring — where the term “metrosexual” has become a source of pride for straight guys with a sense of style and where tough, independent female characters regularly appear in movies and on TV.

Tough, independent female characters have been around for centuries. Three that come to mind immediately are Mae West, Dale Evans, and Wonder Woman. None of whom were the slightest bit confused about their gender.

I hate to say it but I think this country is in desperate need of a good upheaval of some kind. I don't like to see people suffer but a good dose of reality is what some folks need. If people had to actually work hard to survive, it would keep them occupied enough to keep their minds off this kind of crap. I'm beginning to wonder if even scrappleface can outdo reality anymore with this kind of stuff going on. (This couldn't be satire, could it?)

...If you have a penis between your legs, you're a boy. ...

One of my more sarcastic women friends would say that is where a lot of men do their thinking.
