Excellent arguments, sums up exactly how I feel. As Hannity just said "There was an entire stable of experienced, constitutionalist, young judges, why were they by-passed?"

It seems lately our President has not made a lot of Republicans very happy has he?

There are two issues that made our family unhappy with him and that is the illegal alien issue and his overspending especially on welfare programs.

Hopefully we will get back on track in 2008.

. . . young judges, why were they by-passed?

Wisdom is needed more than youth in an office of this kind. If anything bothers me about this choice, it is that a woman will be considered for the office. At any rate, based on other choices the President has made I do not think he made this one without considering all the angles, including especially how best to implement a judiciary that is concerned with maintaining a strict interpretation of the Constitution.
