A fight over Janice Rogers Brown would be much preferable to what Bush has in store for him over Miers.
He should have never nominated someone this close to himself inside the White House. It is a political deathwish.

So, counterpunch - please pick between these 2 hypotheticals: (A) Miers gets on the Court, Roe v. Wade is overturned this term, and the GOP retain majorities in both the House and Senate; or (b) Miers is withdrawn, Janice Rogers Brown's name is submitted, but never voted out of committee or filibustered, Roe v. Wade is never overturned, the GOP lose the House and Senate in 2006, GWB is impeached and convicted.
