Please remember: the Canteen is a place to honor and entertain our troops.
As such we attempt to keep it MOSTLY apolitical.

Good Morning Tomkow!
I don't need thermal underwear. I got my feathers to keep me warm. It's better than a down jacket

Good morning Troops, Veterans, family members, Canteen, and Lurkers:

Well, we're back to the dreaded Monday again. UGH!

Thank God for Military Short Speak or else we'd all be nuts!

I hope everyone has a fabulous week!! It is going to be sunny at my house this week. WOoHoo!
I think it may rain once, but it will be in the upper 70s and 80s. WOoHoo!!

By the way, since there are many new friends that we've acquired in recent months..I'd like to go over a few things.

1. You shouldn't take anything personal or seriously in the Canteen unless one of us tells you that we are being serious.

2. We are all very serious about showing support to our Troops, Veterans, and their families. Outside of that, it's pretty much whatever goes in here.

3. SevenOfNine is the only person that discusses anything remotely political in here. Why? Because she's the International News Diva. She has broken many international stories in the Canteen. We've got it like that thanks to Seven. She's an important part of the Canteen family. What's a nice Irish chick like herself doing hanging out with us?? Well, we promised her a lot of chocolate. LOL!

4. If you are interested in doing a *Holiday Secret Suprise* in the Canteen, please let me know via FReepmail. It would be similar to a *Secret Santa*. Since the Canteen proudly celebrates Christmas and Hanukkah, we'll call it the Holiday Secret Surprise. And if we begin now, it gives everyone enough time to do something. Besides, MoJo has a lot of stuff in her house she needs to get rid of. LOL! (Just kidding! Really! I am merely teasing!)

((HUGS))Good morning, MoJo. How's it going?

Well, we stopped giving our dog bones yesterday. He vomited on one of them Thursday. the vets have been advising against giving dogs bones.

We did take him out to the lake yesterday. He had a really great time. He loves the water.

Nice weather here today. Storms in the forecast for Wednesday.

Not much else happening.

Hi hon! It sure does! Actually, I'm still laughing at the reruns of the Maybe-300-More March. I turned it on and a black woman was singing a spiritual or something. The combination of the hat she was wearing and her dreadlocks made her look like she was wearing an upside-down tree on her head with the roots still sticking out!
