Throughout the public evisceration of Harriet Miers, even her critics have tended to concede one of President Bush's main claims: Miers couldn't have been a complete loser to rise to the top of the bar and of her law firm.
Wrong.
Mediocritythat's a better word for it...

Too bad. I'm thinking of doing another one with the post-Miers RINO talking points. So far I have:
1) You'll live to regret this, you conservative bastards--you burned down the big tent we were hiding under!
2) You fools, you only weakened a conservative president today, a conservative president who doesn't defend the border or veto bridges to nowhere or appoint proven conservatives to the SCOTUS, but hey, he's a conservative if we say so and you weakened him!
3) Look what you did, you made a mess of our nice tidy Senate, and just when we had it all bought. You and that naughty Coburn boy need a good spanking!
4) Oh, we won't EVER forget how you insulted Miers' character--bringing in her own words to make her look bad, now, that was dirty politics!
5) I bet Bush nominates someone worse to get even with you, because he's a conservative and you know how mean and nasty they are!
6) You right-wingers suck, I'm not going to vote in 2006 or 2008 unless I get to run the Department of Education.
7) Uberconservatives think they're so smart...let's see what they do when the RINOs out there won't support their conservative nominees (okay, they probably won't notice anything different, but it'll STILL suck for them).
Feel free to add a few more. I'm certainly collecting them as they come in from the mouthpieces.
God, Hugh Hewitt is a @!#$!@%$ weenie.

Those could almost be quotes of certain well-known trollbots. To make it more authentic, you need some misspelled words and sprinkle superfluous punctuation throughout. Drink a few shots of liquor to get in the right frame of mind.
You might consider adding this item:
8) People hated her because she was an evangelical so The Jooz (a.k.a. neocons) plotted against her so the Pope could put another justice on the Court. It's The Jooz and the Papists! And we'll never forgive you for being their willing accomplices.

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. (KJV)
I forgot the above bit of scripture that has been thundered at us. However, they are selective in their quotes and only use the first portion, out of context. Like this:
One begins to think some people really do require supervision while reading the Bible.

Oopsie, forgot to close a blockquote on the first try...

I need to add one about how Miers' withdrawal has ruined the Senate appointment process FOREVER AND EVER and made the Republicans HYPOCRITES, too.

Bitter much, sunkspunk? Hey, I took a better picture of you than the one you put in that last post. Here it is:
You seem to have fallen apart lately, but I'm sure you'll put yourself all back in one big clump soon enough, bagging on the conservative nominee, or backing another RINO move somehow.

Good lord, what a pack of whiners.
As usual we get to watch the RINO/leftist turnabout move, where they try to pin the insulting tone of the 'debate' on the conservatives again. As if it's somehow insulting to bring up the fact that MIERS ISN'T A CONSERVATIVE by SHOWING HER RECORD.
Hey, RINOs, spin all you want if another RINO appointee is put up, we'll just dig up the record and run y'all off again with the facts.

We will NEVER EVER EVER forgive you for saying that.
We're at war.
You're either for us or against us.
BTW, are you and Howlin moving to France as rumored?
