apparently they are willing to use tear gas in a mosque, something we don't have the will to do.

The war in/for france is starting.

With all due respect, you may bash the French all you like....after we seal our own southern border.

French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy defended his tough crime policies on Monday after a fourth night of riots in a Paris suburb in which tear gas was fired into a mosque.

After the 4TH NIGHT???

I've heard squat about this in the media

"Does anybody have stats that project at what point France will have a muslim majority?"

No later than 2050...just two generations away.

"Religious freedom is critical to the ongoing American experiment, but I can't see how it can last while muslims continue to vie for worldwide domination by any means necessary (including using the religious tolerance of their foes as a smoke screen) and the destruction of Israel."

While it is quite clear that the Middle-Eastern countries and Muslims worldwide want to destroy Israel, it also quite clear(See Iran's marches, and their public statements)their--by their I mean the M.E. Goverments-- campaign of hatred is a distraction to mantain their own power. As a testament to this witness the campaigns of disinformation--regarding Israel-- promulgated by their goverments. By the way this isn't only my opinion, Ralph Peters in "Beyond Terror" echos my thoughts. Perhaps we should ban CAIR!

Religion can last. But the idea that Islam is a Religion has got to go.

Sarkozy, addressing police officers, vowed to find how tear gas had been fired into the Muslim place of worship armory, an incident which had helped fuel the disturbances.

A little help with the translation.

I agree/ Frances only viable solution to nip
this in the bud, are draconion actions and a
expedited volume deportation policy for law
breakers.

The answer is quite easy. If the religion contains as a fundamental belief that it is permitted to INITIATE violence against other religions, then the religion is not protected by the First Amendment. In fact, it should not be considered a religion at all.

Q.E.D., radical Islam (and I also would argue a lot of Islam, besides Sufis) gets the heave-ho.

A policy of violent self defense against violence by other religions, quite rightly, does not trigger this exclusion.
