I think that muslim violence against the west was going to happen no matter what.....whether it be France, the US, Britain, Spain....However, France is fooling itself by thinking it can appease its way out of it...it can't and I hope they begin to realize that, although I doubt they will.

What happens in France will affect the rest of Europe, and eventually the US.

We can never cheer on anarchy, lawlessness, destruction of property, rioting and killing innocent citizens.

Even though we don't agree with France on many issues, why should we wish the French people harm because their government is a failure?

It is Western civilization that is at stake, and as Americans we have a huge stake in the outcome of this fight.

I agree with you - I wish it were not happening. It was certainly bound to happen given the government the French have, but like most things the brunt of this will fall on the ordinary citizen who just wants to live their life.

My other thought is that we really can't be sure of what is happening. The MSM gets almost all stories wrong, except for the most basic of facts.
